šŸ“‹ Required Qualifications: āœ… Connecticut State RN License šŸ©ŗ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification ā¤ļø Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification šŸ• Over 1 Year of ICU Experience Responsibilities: ā€¢ Monitor and Assess Critical Patients: Continuously assess patients' vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters, quickly identifying changes in condition that require immediate intervention. ā€¢ Administer Medications and Treatments: Deliver high-risk medications, fluids, and life-saving treatments according to strict protocols and physician orders, ensuring accuracy and patient safety. ā€¢ Collaborate in Emergency Interventions: Act as a key team member during emergency procedures, including intubations, code blue responses, and bedside surgeries, offering support to physicians and other specialists. ā€¢ Utilize Advanced Medical Equipment: Operate and troubleshoot complex medical equipment such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and ECMO machines, ensuring optimal function and patient stability. ā€¢ Educate Patients and Families: Thoroughly explain care plans, treatment expectations, and recovery processes to patients and families, addressing questions with compassion and clarity. ā€¢ Document and Report Patient Information: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and responses, promptly reporting changes to the healthcare team to facilitate high-quality, coordinated care. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
