  • Shift Breakdown: 3x12 hrs
Min of 1 yr of Psych exp as an RN, BLS (AHA), CPI required. Geriatric, Inpatient, Locked Unit, Medical/Psych, Substance use/Chemical Dependency, Medication Administration (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC, etc), Starting and maintaining IVs, Blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion / maintenance. Epic, medical, and Psych experience required Adult Psychiatric population and geriatric (18 years or older), some patients with co-morbid medical conditions that require med-surg approach. When floating to other BH units- Patient is older adult and adult population, some patients with medical co-morbidities and mobility issues. Some diagnoses include dementia, depression, Parkinson's Disease, bipolar disorder, or anxiety. Some patients require pre-op prep for ECT IV start Presence in Milieu Restraint application Will work as charge as needed
