Join our REMARKABLE health care team as a Radiologic Technologist – MRI and perform technical imaging examinations and complex, specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems. We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – MRI to: • Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems. • Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations. • Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. • Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures. • Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research. SHIFT: 40 hours per week, Days, 10 hr shifts. Typical schedule will involve traveler working Sunday at East Madison Hospital and Mon - Wednesday at 1 S Park Street. Holidays as needed. See note about possible work locations including University Hospital, dependent on operational need. Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: • Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. • Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Experience: • Two (2) years clinical experience. Education: • Minimum – Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology. • Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. • License and Certification: • Certification by appropriate body: ARRT Registries of Radiography (R) AND MRI (MR). • BLS (issued by American Heart Association) Location: UW Health East Madison Hospital, 4602 Eastpark Blvd, Madison, WI Parking: Free parking onsite UW Health East Madison Hospital – is UW Health’s newest hospital and one of the most advanced hospitals and wellness centers in the country.
