  • Shift Breakdown: 3x12 hrs
+ $500 Travel Primary Unit will be IMCU/ICU; floated to other units as needed Will be asked to float as needed OR RN license required for starting; Will request temp license if needed 36-hours guaranteed. EPIC medical record, B. Braun pumps, Avea ventilators, Gemstar epidural, Edwards and Phillips patient monitoring, Omnicell medication dispense. 2 years minimum critical care experience, post heart cath recovery and patient management, post op day 1 open heart surgery patient management, experience with long term ventilated patients, experience with swan ganz catheters, and vasoactive medication titration. TEA, Triple A and general surgery patient management. Travelers will not get fresh heart patients. 12 hour shifts, every other weekend (may need to work consecutive weekends to accommodate requested time off) Will float to ICU, IMCU, CVICU, ED first and then Medical Surgical, telemetry, post surgical, ortho neuro, and BHU RN Union Contract states traveler or agency nurses float prior to regularly employed staff. Traveler RN may float to any floor. If they float to med-surg, they are there as a resource nurse and may take a reduced assignment. Standard scrub top and bottoms - any colors. No visible tattoos on the neck or above. No facial piercings
