Experience: • Required Work Experience: 1 year of Case Manager experience and 2 years of RN experience • MUST have Inpatient experience and L&D experience • Must have experience Managing inpatient case manager processes but only have 21 direct reports, LVNs and non-licensed staff, discharge planners. • Utilization review experience • Receives a lot of transport patients. This role requires a lot of multi-tasking and has a high volume of cases. • Excellent and clear communication skillset required • Hospital needs clear and meaningful communicators to improve their outcomes • Travel Experience not required but preferred Case types: • All Inpatient • L&D • High Volume • Management of a team • Handling adults 18+ • 15-20 cases per CM • LVNs are there to support anything clinical • Both CM and utilization review will be their responsibility 13 week contract Shift: Days - 8:30am-4:30pm; Monday-Friday; 40 hours - 5 x 8 ’s Patient ratios (if known): Within Guidelines of CA State Law Float Requirements: None Is RTO Accepted? What is the Max: Up to 4 days max RTO approved On Call Requirement? NO Certs: BLS, LA County Fire Card License: Active CA RN License; If CA License is expired, it will need to be renewed If applying for a CA License, please call the Senator's office to expedite the application.
