Required BLS. Following Safety Procedures: Radiographers must follow strict safety protocols, such as using protective shields and ensuring minimal exposure to radiation, to safeguard both the patient and themselves. Image Analysis: While they do not diagnose conditions, radiologic technologists are trained to identify the difference between a high-quality and low-quality image, ensuring that the images are clear for accurate diagnosis by the radiologist or physician.
