Job Title: Registered Nurse - First Assistant Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia, 30046 Shift: 10Hr Days (06:00am - 16:30pm) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 (Weekly) Description: Registered Nurse - 1st Assist With credentialing requirements, we are looking at a December target start date. Schedule Details: Fulltime - Monday through Friday 10 hour days (0600-1630) with a varying day off. Plus rotating nights, weekend & holiday call divided evenly amongst the first assistants. Call is typically 1-2 weekdays (Mon-Thurs) and 1-2 weekends (Fri-Sat-Sun) per 6 week schedule. Minimum Qualifications: The credentials required for an RNFA is a current RN license in the state of Georgia and completion of an accredited RNFA program. Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR experience. Department Details: We do 4-6 open heart surgeries a day. (CABG, AVR, MVR, minimally invasive Mitrals, Ascending Aortas, Myxomas, Impellas) On average the First Assists are having to do 2 cases a day. Holiday Expectations: MUST work 2 major Holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day New Year’s Day AND 1 Minor Holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve New Year’s Eve
