Location: Aurora, CO Specialty: PICU RN Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 11/05/2024 End Date: 02/04/2025 Shift: 3x12hr Nights Taxed Hourly: $25 Untaxed Stipend: $1,800 Gross Weekly: $2,700 Mandatory Qualifications/Job Details: • Night 7-7 • Description: Requisition Comments and Notes: Position Title: RN Traveler Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks Contract Dates: 11/05/2024 - 02/08/2025 12Hr Night Shift : 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM*****straight night or rotating 50/50 days/nights scheduling options available no straight day positions available******* • 50 Mile Rules Radius Travel • Float Requirement: As needed • Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday and Sunday, day or night • On Call Requirement: None • Minimum Qualifications: Education: BSN • Will you consider hiring a new traveler?: Yes • Licensure/Certification: RN license Required • Job Qualifications: 2+ years' experience as a staff RN in a comparable PICU Experience caring for patients from birth to 21 years with various diagnoses, including respiratory conditions requiring multiple therapies (nasal cannula, Trilogy BiPAP/CPAP, all ventilator modalities) Experience with chronic childhood diseases, sepsis, TBI, DKA, seizure disorders, oncology diagnoses, metabolic disorders, NAT Experience with surgical patients including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, colorectal, and general surgery Familiarity with equipment such as Trilogy & Drager ventilators, Cerelink ICP monitors, Medfusion syringe pumps, and Baxter large volume IV pumps • Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of staff experience and 1 year of travel experience in teaching facility PICUs (or increased staff experience in lieu of travel experience) Scheduling Options: Rotating days & nights or straight nights (no straight day positions available) Eligible to float to all inpatient care areas, including critical and acute care units (not to ED, OR, or inpatient Psych) Required Certifications: BLS & PALS (ACLS preferred) Cory Montell Senior Associate Recruiter [email protected] 513-725-0474
