Department: Radiology - CT (Computed Tomography) General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT, Computed Tomography (CT), State Rad License How many scanners/rooms does this department have 4 Will they have to float/cover any other areas Yes Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Scanning/screening CT patients. Inpatients, ED, and outpatients. Experience or 'Must have' skills Peripheral IV starts Average # of scans/studies per day 80 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Philips iSite Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Philips, GE Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift No Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants) No Radiologist in-house Yes Do they have to start IV's (if applicable to the department) Yes Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling) Scheduled by CT Supervisor for all shifts. 7a-5p OP M-F. 8-5 Saturday. 3-11 mid shift.
