Role: Medical Technologist, Core Laboratory Location: Atlanta, GA Salary: $61,838 - $99,424 = $29.73/hr - $47.80/hr Targeted Start: 10/21 D2D: Independently performs laboratory procedures for which the technologist has been trained and demonstrated competency. Independently performs laboratory testing on patients of all ages using professional knowledge of laboratory procedures, executing, interpreting and/or analyzing, in an accurate and timely manner. i. 2 Day Shift Openings: 4x10’s or 5x8’s ii. 2 Night Shift Openings: 4x10’s or 5x8’s iii. 1 Blood Bank Opening: 4x10’s or 5x8’s Qualifications: • ASCP (preferred) OR AMT (American Medical Technologists) or AAB (American Association of Bioanalysts) Certification • Should be competent in areas of the laboratory being covered, including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank, microbiology preferred. • 4-6 years of Medical Technologist experience ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science, biomedical science, medical technology or in a life / biological science (biology, biochemistry, microbiology, etc.) preferred.
