Requirements: Licensure: Compact or VA license (No exceptions) Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), NIHSS Experience: 3 years preferred; travel experience preferred; must have Charge experience Skills: EPIC proficiency (No exceptions), vents, IV start, telemetry, PA lines, conscious sedation, Neuro IV titration, insulin IV, strong Neuro experience (post brain surgery, EVD/ventriculostomy) Patient Ratios: 1:4 (sometimes 1:5) Patient Types: Pulmonary: Respiratory failure (pneumonia, COPD, CHF) Cardiac: NSTEMI/STEMI (non-ICU), AFIB, CHF requiring BIPAP/diuresis Other: Sepsis (no pressors), minor trauma, CIWA, DKA (insulin gtt), occasional surgical/vascular patients
