(will be on call rotation during weekends-very rare we are called in though) There will be some evening coverage here in there from 3-11. About Facility: Address: 140 Academy Street, Presque Isle, Maine Beds: 89 Licensed Beds Teaching Facility General Information: Imaging Rooms X-Ray: 3 rooms 2 general X-Ray; 1 for Fluoroscopy/Pain Clinic Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes would prefer more Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Patient Types: Care areas: Outpatient, Inpatient ED/ICU/MedSurg, Operating Room Primarily Adult/Geriatrics with some Peds Fluoroscopy, C-Arm in OR, Ortho Ortho Trauma, ICU, MedSurg, ER (CXRAY, AB scans, Vascular) Patients seen in a day (average per day): 25-30 scans Required Licensure and Certifications: BLS ARRT (R) required ME State license Skills required: OR/C-arm experience Experience with above patient types Fluoroscopy experience if traveler has not done Fluoro but is strong overall, send to manager for approval prior to offer vs. declining Support within Department: Lead Tech Internal Transport Radiologist on site Technology/Equipment: EMR: Cerner PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA Equipment: 1st imaging room: Siemens 2nd imaging room: T-Rad with Siemens ART PIX to make it digital (general Xray room) Fluoroscopy unit Cannon Ultimax Hybrid C-arm (General Radiology procedures + Pain Clinic) Operating Room: Phillips C-Arm Mobile units: Phillips C-arms, Siemens Portable (Digital), GE AMX 4 portable, Mini C-arm for Ortho scans Floating: If yes, where? fixed location other than OR or portables for inpatient scans Orientation: 1-1.5 weeks, based on experience/comfort level Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Varies based on need specifics will be sent over with requisition for interview (check with CRT if you do not receive this) No call required Holiday Expectations: done in rotation with other techs RTO: Manager Approval Schedule: 7 week schedules Specific shift will vary based on need specifics will be sent over with requisition for interview (check with CRT if you do not receive this) Other notes: Scrub Color: any solid color as long as professional, or provided by facility if needed Parking: Free
