Current California LVN license or interim permit for LVN. Current CPR certification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to apply good clinical judgment, plan work, establish priorities and maintain flexibility. Proficient written and verbal skills. Ability to instruct and teach. Ability to use a computer proficiently. Responsibilities: Prepares patients for examinations and assists clinical staff with examination procedures. Takes accurate vital signs, performs necessary lab work, and ensures that proper documentation is included in the patient s record prior to providers visit .Notes appropriate history and reason for visit including: prenatal, immunization, smoking, medical history Updates allergy and medication list. Updates allergy and medication list.
