Minimum 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required. State Medical Technologist license may be required (will be listed in requirement if it?s needed). Required experience in Blood Banking. ASCP or AMT certification is either preferred or required (will be listed in requirement if it?s required). Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus High level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills. Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen. Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs Additional Comments/Requirements 3 pm-11:30 pm M-F possible rotating weekends occasionally1 Is this for and Medical Lab Technician [2 year MLT degree ] or Medical Lab Scientist / Medical Technologist [4 year BS] or are you open to either? LOOKING FOR MT/MLS BUT OPEN TO MLT2- Please confirm if ASCP or AMT certification is required. [If required, are you open to eligible /registered candidates?] required3- Are you seeking a generalist [proficient in testing in all Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation] or are you seeking a Micro Lab worker with Molecular background? GENERALIST with some blood bank experience4- What department will this technical position support? [Micro lab, Core lab, DNA sequence, etc.] CORE LAB5- Is Blood Bank experience required for this role? YES
