This is for a cytotechnologist and must have the ASCP and Florida State license. Job hours: 0830-1700 MON-FRIDAY Years of experience- Required at Least 1 year of experience. More than 1 year Microscopic Interpretation Experience, Specimen Processing Experience First-timers accepted: Yes- Certs REQ: Bachelor's Degree must be from an accredited CAAHEA approved program. Certified Cytotechnologist (CT) Required. Certified Medical Technologist (MT) Preferred Education/Degree Required: Bachelor of Science (non Nursing) Weekend REQ: Is on-call REQ? NO Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? NO RTO Restrictions: No excessive time off requests. Must be approved before signing. Guaranteed Hours: See billing rules Special Requirements/Skills: Maintains expertise in collection, processing, staining and microscope interpretation of cytologic specimens. Performs computer, clerical, safety and quality improvement functions as defined in the laboratory general and section specific policy and procedure manuals. May instruct new employees, Cytotechnologists and Cytopreparatory technicians.
