Must Haves: • Must have minimum 18 months of Nursing experience working in an ED environment. • Must have ED Experience within the past 2-3 years • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel • Required Certifications and Licensure: o NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license o BLS-AHA o NIHSS o CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours Day to day: A large enterprise health system is looking for 11 Travel ED RN’s to join their Emergency Department in Hackensack, NJ. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, we need our ED RN’s to be equipped to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. They’re a Level 1 Trauma center and the patient ration is usually 1:5 or 1:6. Our Emergency Department nurses are trained in dealing with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions and be able to prioritize their injuries and medical needs accordingly.
