Ms. Andrews placed a hand gently on his back, her voice soft and calm, offering the kind of quiet comfort that only comes from deep patience and understanding. "It's okay, Jason. We’ll do this together. Let’s take it one step at a time. You’ve got this." I’m currently searching for special ed teachers like Ms. Andrews – teachers who are passionate about the special ed space. Right now, the city of Red Wing, MN is desperately in need of a teacher to help mentor the students of their community. Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students based on their unique needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students’ success. Modify curriculum and instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs. Provide one-on-one and small group instruction as needed. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Support students in developing social and life skills, as well as academic achievements. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field. Valid teaching certification in special education. Experience working with high school-aged students with disabilities is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and parents.
