The Case Manager is a registered nurse responsible for coordinating the care and services for an assigned unit-based patient population. In collaboration with the patient/family, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team, the Case Manager facilitates the patient's progress through the acute episode of care in an efficient and cost effective manner. Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Required) Experience 1 Year experience in acute care Case Management setting or Utilization Management at an acute care facility and/or insurance company in either UR or CM. (Required) General Experience with knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts related to nursing practice and strong leadership capabilities. (Required) General Experience and knowledge of InterQual criteria (Preferred) License/Certifications RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required) CCM - Certified Case Manager (Preferred) _
