Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Revere, MA Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: Revere Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services to students with communication disorders. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication issues, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address students’ specific communication needs. Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to integrate communication goals into the classroom and at home. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure success. Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input regarding students’ speech and language development. Offer consultation and training to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' communication skills. Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and implement best practices. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
