Job Title: School Psychologist Location: Revere, MA Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: Revere Public Schools is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to support students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. The School Psychologist will provide psychological evaluations, counseling, and intervention services, working closely with educators, families, and administrators to create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans for students requiring additional support. Provide individual and group counseling services to students dealing with academic, social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement evidence-based interventions and support plans. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and provide recommendations. Monitor and document the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans accordingly. Offer consultation and training to school staff on behavior management and mental health issues. Promote a positive school climate by supporting school-wide programs focused on social-emotional learning and mental health. Stay current on best practices and legal guidelines in school psychology, mental health, and child development. Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field. Valid Massachusetts certification/licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience in a school setting is preferred. Proficiency in psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
