Right now, the city of Belmont, MA in desperately in need of a teacher to help mentor the students of their community. Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students based on their unique needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students’ success. Modify curriculum and instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs. Provide one-on-one and small group instruction as needed. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Support students in developing social and life skills, as well as academic achievements. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field. Valid teaching certification in special education. Experience working with high school-aged students with disabilities is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and parents.
