Job Title: School Psychologist Location: Ewen, MI Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: The Ewen School District is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist to provide services to students, helping them overcome academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges. The School Psychologist will work closely with educators, parents, and administrators to assess students’ needs, provide counseling, and develop interventions that promote student well-being and success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs. Develop and implement individualized interventions and strategies to support student success. Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or academic challenges. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create effective support plans and behavior management strategies. Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to provide expertise on student needs and progress. Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed. Provide consultation to staff on mental health, learning disorders, and behavior management. Promote positive mental health through school-wide programs and initiatives. Stay current on best practices and research in school psychology and child development. Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. Valid Michigan certification as a School Psychologist. Experience working with students in a school setting preferred. Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, interventions, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
