Notes: Masters Degree, with one year of speech pathology experience • Worker will never be alone; will always be teamed with staff member • Comfortable and proficient in swallow assessments • Prefer someone with experience with modified barium swallow studies • Person to Patient Ratio At least one acute care placement as we are a level 2 trauma hospital and deal with very complicated patients o Acute care level – 6 to 8 patients a day o 75% productivity standard • Self starter, good communication • Schedule – Is flexible o Monday – Friday o 8am – 430pm • Typical Day o Morning: video swallow studies o Prioritize NPO patients o Triage based on diagnosis – work as a team
