Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Stuart, FL Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Stuart, FL. The SLP will work with students across various grade levels to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. This role involves providing direct therapy services, collaborating with school staff and families, and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to help students reach their academic and social potential. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support the student’s communication goals in the classroom and at home. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student development. Educate and train teachers, staff, and parents on strategies to improve student communication skills. Stay current on best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
