Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Everett, MA Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: The Everett School District is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services to students with communication disorders. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication challenges. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that help students achieve academic and social success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address each student's unique needs. Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment. Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary. Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student development. Educate and provide resources to staff and parents regarding speech and language development and strategies for improving student outcomes. Stay up-to-date on best practices, research, and trends in speech-language pathology. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
