Job Description<p>As a registered nurse - pre-op (RN), or pre-operative nurse, you will prepare patients for surgery. Working at a hospital or surgical center, you'll serve as an advocate for your patients, providing them with information about their upcoming procedures. You'll also start IVs, monitor vital signs, handle paperwork and help alleviate patient fears.
