Overview

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Facility: Resurrection Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, Inc.
Employment Type: LTA (Long-Term Assignment)
Contract Length: 12 months

Job Description

Required to have BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG experience.
EPIC experience is mandatory.
Work schedule includes every other weekend and holiday.
Flexibility with scheduling is essential; no block schedules or set days off.
The unit consists of a 30-bed telemetry floor with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5 to 1:6.

Driver's License/State ID: Required for onboarding.
Prime OIG: Required for onboarding.
Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test required within 60 days of start.
Color-blind Test: Must be completed annually.
Agency Attestation: Required for onboarding.
SAM/EPLS Check: Required for onboarding.
Resume: Required for submission.
References: Two references required for submission.
BLS Certification: Must be from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
ACLS Certification: Must be from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
NIHSS Certification: Required.
Basic Pharmacology Exam: Must score 80% or higher.
Specialty Exam: Must score 80% or higher.
Education Verification: Required for onboarding.
COVID-19 Vaccine: Two vaccines and booster required or declination completed.
MMR Immunity: Proof of two vaccines or positive titer required.
Fit Test: Annual respirator fit test required.
Hepatitis B Immunity: Required for onboarding.
Influenza Vaccine: Required from October 1 to May 31.
TB Test: Required for onboarding.
Varicella Immunity: Required for onboarding.
Tdap Immunity: Required for onboarding.
Annual TB Questionnaire: Required for onboarding.
Social Security Card: Required for onboarding.
Physical/Health Statement: Must be completed annually.
Core Competencies Exam: Must score 80% or higher.
Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
Criminal Background Check: Required for onboarding.
Badge Photo: Clear headshot required for onboarding.
