Job Description

• Experience Required: 2 years of travel experience, 1 year in a similar role.
• Floating: Yes, the position will float between units.
• On-Call Requirement: No
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend.
• Block Scheduling: Yes
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 and 1:5
• Shift: Day shift
• Units Supported: 7 Adult Inpatient Acute Care units, including general medical/surgical and progressive/telemetry level patients.

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS: Basic Life Support
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• CHEMO: Chemotherapy
• EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• NURSYS Verification: Required for all RNs
• IV Certification: Required for LVN/LPN/Other
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB): Required
• NIH Stroke Certification: Required
• CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required as applicable by profession.

Health Documents Required

• Physical Exam: Must be signed by a licensed healthcare provider.
• TB Test: IGRA/TSPOT, QGold, or 2 PPDs within 12 months of start date.
• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap Vaccine
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu Vaccine (seasonal)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination or Declination

Background Check

• Requirements: Background check covering all locations lived/worked within the past 7 years, including SSN Trace, Death Master Index, and National Sex Offender checks.

References
