- Shifts: Nights (4 shifts of 12 hours from 1900-0730) or 3 shifts of 12 hours (36 hours/week)

- RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Max
Position Overview
- Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN
- Experience Required: 3 years preferred; can consider candidates with 2 years of experience.
- First-timers Accepted: Yes
- Floating: Within the hospital is required; no floating to sister hospitals.
Patient Care Details
- Patient Population: Childbearing women and newborns, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care.
- Facility Level: High-risk Level 3 Perinatal center with approximately 150 births per month.
- NICU: Level 4 NICU, regional center.
Certifications Required
- BLS: Basic Life Support
- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Additional Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification may be required based on unit specifics.
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Fit Mask Testing: Required within specified timeframes.
- Vaccinations:
- Tdap (within 10 years)
- Flu vaccination documentation during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccination tracking (not required but recommended)
- Background Check: 7-year criminal background check required.
- Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within a year of start.
