Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech

Overview

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Note: Candidates must not reside in Richmond County.

Required Certifications

• Drivers License/State ID: Government-Issued Photo ID required.
• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or ARC).
• BLS: Basic Life Support (AHA or ARC).
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA or ARC).
• NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure.
• CHEMO: Chemotherapy (preferred for Oncology RNs).
• TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (preferred for ER RNs).
• Tech Cert Verification - National: Required for MLT, Medical Assistants, Ultrasound Techs, etc.
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement: Required annually.
• State License Verification: Primary Source Verification required.
• NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP.
• NPI Number: Required for Physical Therapists.
• NIH Stroke Certification: Valid for 2 years.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute: Required for ER and Psych.

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start.
• Tdap: Required within 10 years of start.
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: PPD within 3 months or Qgold/TSPOT within 1 year.
• TB Questionnaire: Required if history of past positive.
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella: Positive Titer or 2 Vaccines required.
• Hepatitis B: Series, Titer, or Declination.
• Varicella: Positive Titer or 2 Vaccines required.
• Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug screen within 30 days of start.
• Flu Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption: Required during flu season.

Background and History Requirements

• Background Check: Required within 1 year of start.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM: Required within 30 days of start.
• HHS/OIG: Required within 30 days of start.
• References: Two clinical references required, one from a supervisor or higher.
• Employment Application: Complete application/resume required.
• Skills Checklist: Required annually.

Additional Information

• Candidates must complete all required modules prior to start.
• Approved list of CPI courses for NC available.
• Facility-specific documents may be required for certain exemptions.
