Job Description

• Position for Cath Lab Tech (Days)
• Previous travel experience required
• National Certification required (ARRT or CCI)
• Responsibilities include:

  • Scrubbing diagnostic/interventional heart catheterizations
  • Performing right heart catheterizations
  • Conducting carotid angiograms
  • Executing peripheral diagnostic/interventional procedures
  • Assisting with pacemakers

Required Certifications

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS: Basic Life Support
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (as applicable)
• NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as applicable)
• CHEMO: Chemotherapy (as applicable)
• TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (as applicable)
• Tech Cert Verification: National (as applicable)
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
• State License Verification
• NURSYS Verification: For RN, LPN/LVN, AP (as applicable)
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) (as applicable)
• NIH Stroke Certification (as applicable)
• CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute (as applicable)

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Within 12 months of start
• Fit Test: Required within 1 year of start
• Adult TDAP Vaccine: Required within 10 years of start
• Negative TB Test: 2-Step PPD, QGOLD, or TSPOT within 1 year of start
• Drug Screen: Negative 10 Panel within 90 days of start
• Vaccination Records: Required for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Flu Seasonal Vaccination: Required for new candidates starting in the specified period
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (Dose 1 and Dose 2 if applicable)

Background and History Requirements

• 7 Year Background Check: Required within 1 year of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM Check: Required upon hire
• HHS/OIG Check: Required upon hire
• References: 2 Professional References for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care; 1 Professional Reference for Per Diem Non-Acute Care
• Employment Application/Resume: Required
• Unit Specific Skills Checklist: Required annually
• Education Verification: Required to verify highest level of education
• Work History Verification: Required for all candidates

Additional Information

• Drivers License: Required for all travelers
