Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Overview

Shift Details

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts (0630-1700), 4 days a week with rotating day off
  • On-Call Requirements: Some evening, weekend, and holiday call coverage required (10 shifts/month, 24/7)

Experience and Qualifications

  • Years of Experience Required: 2 years
  • First-Timers Accepted: Yes
  • Certifications Required:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • Special Requirements:
    • Experience with radial access and TR bands preferred
    • Sheath pulls required

Competencies and Health Documents

  • Competency Exams: Unit-specific competency exams required, must be updated annually
  • Health Documents:
    • Physical exam required within 1 year of start
    • Drug testing required within 1 year of start
    • TB testing and vaccination documentation required
    • Flu vaccination documentation required annually

Background Check and References

  • Background Check: Required within 6 months of start, including statewide and national searches
  • References: Two professional references required, preferably from supervisors within the last year
