Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ICU) - High Point, North Carolina

Position Details

Experience and Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: 1.5+ years
• First-Timers Accepted: Yes
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles
• Pending License: Accepted
• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 2 weeks, with time added to the end of the contract

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)

• Special Requirements:

  • Must have EPIC experience
  • No recent Atrium employees (including PRN and internal temp) within the past year
  • No recent return travelers who lived locally

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start
• Drug Testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen required within a year of start
• Vaccination Requirements:

  • Flu Vaccine or exemption required for all candidates during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccination documentation is highly preferred but not mandated
• Background Check: 7-year comprehensive background check required within 45 days of start

Documentation Required

• State License Verification: Must have North Carolina or Compact License to work
• Education Verification: Required for all candidates prior to start
• TB Questionnaire: Required for all candidates regardless of TB result
