Job Description

• Position: CRT or RRT
• Specialty: Pediatrics
• Experience Required: 3 years
• Travelers: No first-time travelers

Required Certifications

• BLS: Basic Life Support (preferably from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross)
• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (from American Heart Association or the American Red Cross)
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred for both RN's and LVN's in Pediatrics, not required)
• Tech Cert Verification: National certification as applicable
• State License Verification: Required as applicable to profession

Health Requirements

• Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start
• Fit Mask: N95 mask within the last year (renewed annually)
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: Within 1 year of start
• Vaccination Documentation:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
• Drug Testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen within a year of start

Additional Requirements

• Background Check: Standard background check updated annually
• References: 2 Professional References required
• Skills Checklist: Required annually
• Child and Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training: Completion required

• Cerebral Palsy (CP)
• Spinal Cord Injury
• Birth Injury
• Motor Vehicle Accidents
• Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
• Trisomy 21
• Rett Syndrome

Work Schedule

• Every other weekend required.
