Job Description

Experience Requirements:
- Preferred: 2 years of recent experience and Epic experience
- Will consider candidates with 1 year of experience
Unit Type: Med Surg Tele
Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM
Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)

Unit Information

Unit Size: 27 beds
Patient Load: On average, 10-12 observation patients, with the remainder being acute med-surg patients who may be admitted for various reasons, including stroke.
Team Model: The unit has a virtual RN who will take over certain duties from the travel floor nurse, which may affect nurse-to-patient ratios.

Additional Notes

This position is not open to local candidates; only travelers are considered.
It is important to set expectations with nurses regarding the team model and potential impacts on patient care.
