Job Description

• Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year EPIC experience.
• Licensure: Must have an active South Carolina license or multistate license.
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Shift Information

• Available shifts: 36 hours or 48 hours.

Floating Policy

• Agency staff may be required to float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses as needed, based on census concerns. Staff will only float to units they are qualified for.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Requirements

• Documentation:

  • Proof of I-9 or Attestation
  • Driver's License required for computer access
  • E-Verify or Attestation
• Certifications:

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) for pediatric units
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) for NICU and L&D
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) for ER and Pediatric ER
  • NIH Stroke Certification for specific units
  • MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) for ER/ED and Behavioral Health RNs
• Health Documents:

  • Physical Exam
  • Drug Testing
  • Vaccination records (e.g., Tetanus, Flu, MMR, Hepatitis B)
  • TB screening (PPD or equivalent)

Competencies

• Completion of various competency exams and training modules prior to start date.

Compliance

• Background checks and verifications are required, including state license verification and criminal background checks.

Photo Requirements

• A badge photo is required prior to the start date.

• All certifications must be current and cannot expire within 30 days of the start date.
• Candidates must complete online training modules before orientation.
• Compliance with Prisma Health's policies and procedures is mandatory.
