Job Description
- Shift: 10 Hour Days
- Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience
- At least 1 year of experience in Cath Lab
- Licenses/Certifications Required:
- California RN License
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Preferred Qualifications
- RCIS and/or RCES certification
- Experience with Pre/Post Procedure Care of Adult Interventional Cardiology patients
Contract Length
- 22 weeks
Additional Information
Required Documents
- Identification: Driver's license or government-issued photo ID with address
- Certifications:
- AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC)
- NIH Stroke Certification for ED RNs
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) for ER/ED
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Unit Specific Competency Exams
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start
- Vaccination documentation (Tetanus, TB, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, etc.)
- Drug testing within 30 days of start
Background Check
- 7-year criminal check required within 30 days of start
- Two supervisory references required
Employment Application
- Current and updated resume including the last 7 years of work history
Skills Checklist
- Unit Specific Skills Checklist required and updated annually
Additional Notes
- Candidates must review and sign various facility-specific documents prior to start.
- COVID-19 vaccination and declination forms may be required.
