Job Description

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients.
• Participates in patient and family teaching.
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
• May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience (Required).
  • Charge RN experience (Required).
  • Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) (Required).
• Education:

  • BSN preferred.
• Certifications:

  • Must upload license/certifications with profile.
• Additional Notes:

  • Local travelers (those residing within 50 miles of the facility) are not eligible.
  • Candidate must have their own vehicle due to the small community without public transport.

• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1 to 4/5
• Average Daily Patient Census: 22
• EMR System: Cerner

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Information

• This is a Med Surg position; block scheduling will not be considered.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required.
• Call-back, holiday, and overtime multipliers apply.
