Job Description

• Start Date: ASAP (2 weeks from offer for compliance requirements)
• Shift: 5x8s, 09:00 - 17:30
• Experience Required: 1 year; first-time travelers accepted
• Epic Experience: Preferred, but not required
• On-call Requirement: Yes, rotating weekdays and every 3rd weekend
• Local Candidates Accepted: Yes
• Pending License Accepted: Yes, WI/Compact license preferred
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Additional Requirements

• Health Documents:

  • Physical Exam (within 1 year of start)
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (within 60 days of start date)
  • Vaccination records for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
  • Drug Testing (Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 week of start)
  • Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)

• Competencies:

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Color Blind Testing (if applicable)
  • Competency Exam (as applicable to profession/specialty)

• Background Check: 7 Year Background Check required within 1 year of start

• References: 2 Professional References verified within 2 years of start (1 must be from the most recent employer)

• Skills Checklist: Required annually

• State Specific Search: WI Caregiver Screening
