Job Description

Specialty: 5N Med/Surg - Medical Stroke
Unit Details:
- Cost Center: 13
- Average Daily Census: 26-28
- Flex up to 35 beds
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
- Support Staff: 3 Patient Care Technicians (PCT)

Patient Population

Common Conditions: COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, occasional surgical overflow (thyroidectomy), and general medical overflow.

Requirements

Certifications: BLS (AHA)
Experience: NIHSS certification is a plus; experience with stroke patients, particularly post-TPA or lower-level care.

Shift Details

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled.

Additional Information

All submissions must include an unexpired copy of the candidate's driver's license.
