Position Details

Shift Information

• Shift: Alternating 4x8 and 5x8, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, every 3rd weekend

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 1 year
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Surgery Experience Preferred: Yes

Certifications and Licenses Required

• BLS: Basic Life Support
• AART: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred for ER)
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (as applicable)
• NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as applicable)
• TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (for ER placements)
• State License: Current Michigan license required
• Tech Cert Verification: Required if applicable

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Required within 12 months of start
• TB Test: Negative PPD, QGold, or Tspot within 1 year
• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap Vaccine within 10 years
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation for the 2024-25 season
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations or titers
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or titer
  • Varicella vaccinations or titer
• Drug Testing: 10 panel drug screen required within 30 days of start

• Education Verification: High school diploma or equivalent required
