- Travelers must be COVID vaccinated; Medical/Religious Exemptions provided upon request
- As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
- EMR - EPIC
- NBO: 8 hrs
- Traveler will be required to float to all campuses including Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Hospital & Methodist West Hospital within pertinent skillset/Unit they are contracted for.
- Unit Details: cases & care type -- knee replacement, hip replacements, joint infections, post op care along with other m/s admissions.
Job details
- 2+ years current MS experience in hospital setting - Required
- Ortho/Rehab experience
- Client prefers that the Clinicians do not take more than 7 days off in a 13 week contract.
- At least 1 recent travel contract completed
- Work history/resume
- Home/taxable address (just need to be listed somewhere in profile, ex. resume, in the notes section of the submittal)
- Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date)
- License verification
- References - highly preferred (if not provided, will be required to complete during onboarding if candidate accepts an offer)

- At Methodist West, a service of UnityPoint Health - Des Moines, we work closely with Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons (DMOS) because we want you to have the very best care.
- This experienced group of surgeons was the first in the state of Iowa to perform a total knee replacement.
- The Orthopaedic Center of Excellence at Methodist West and Iowa Methodist perform more orthopaedic surgeries in Iowa than any other hospital system.
- The 12-bed maternity center includes private labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum rooms, allowing mothers to stay in one room for the duration of their stay.
- There is also a newborn nursery with one continuing care neonatal bed.
- Offering experienced staff and 24/7 on-staff neonatal support in partnership with Blank Children's Hospital.
- Methodist West was the first and only hospital in Central Iowa to employ Patient Care Facilitators.
- The surgery department contains 14 private, pre-operative rooms, six leading edge operating rooms and an endoscopy suite.

I really enjoy working for Access Healthcare. My recruite, Deina, goes to bat for me. The agency pays better than other agencies. They will match pay as well. Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
