    Job details
  • Job Summary: Nursing position in Med Surg/Tele/Oncology department at Onvida Health Yuma Medical Center.
  • Common diagnoses include oncology, abdominal pain, COPD, overdose, ETOH, weakness, psych, and some surgical cases.
    Job requirements
  • Active Arizona or Compact nursing license required.
  • EPIC experience required.
  • Oncology experience is required.
  • PCU experience is a bonus.
    Schedule information
  • Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM/AM
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Holiday Requirement: Typically 2/3 holidays
  • Low Census On Call requirement.
    Unit specific information
  • Charge Nurse on each shift: sometimes free but can take assignment if needed.
  • Nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: PCA, 8-12 per person.
  • Dedicated monitor tech on unit, travelers will need to monitor Tele.
    Additional Details
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Start Date: 2/10 - Not flexible.
  • Submission profile requirements include accurate resume and certifications.

Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
