Job details

RESPIRATORY THERAPIST
Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements)
Shift: 3x12 variables
Years of Experience REQ: 2 years of experience is a hospital setting is required; 2 years of experience is a trauma hospital is preferred.
Epic Experience REQ? 1 year of Epic experience is preferred.
First-Timers Accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: TBD
Is on-call REQ? No
Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, depending on census.
Open to accommodating block schedule? TBD
Locals Accepted: No
Pending State License Accepted: WA state RRT required.
RTO Restrictions: TBD
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Top 10 Diagnosis: Heart disease, COPD, Drug abuse, COVID, CVA, DM, uncontrolled HTN, pregnancy, alcohol withdraw, fall/trauma
Top 10 Procedures: Intubation, bipap management, nebulizer therapy, CPT therapy, oxygen use evaluation, labor and delivery standby, trauma team response, conscious sedation, CPR
Most Common Equipment: Airvo 2 high flow, vapotherm, servo ventilator, PB 980 ventilator, hamilton ventilator, V60 bipaps

Job requirements

2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
WA state RRT required
1 year of Epic experience preferred

Unit specific information

Must verify last 7 years of employment with proof of 1 year in specialty
Two references from Charge RN or higher from the last 3 years, must cover 1 year in specialty

I really enjoy working for Access Healthcare. My recruite, Deina, goes to bat for me. The agency pays better than other agencies. They will match pay as well. Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
