Description
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
- First Time Travelers: Yes
- Shift Requirements: 3x12s and 4x12s available; Every other weekend required; Float required - cardiac stepdown unit, PICU
- Will accept PICU RN and train on CVPICU
- Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years
- Staffing Ratios: 1:1-2
- Unit Information: 23 bed Cardiac ICU. ranked per USNWR #5 in the nation and #1 in Midwest for last 2 years. Care for complex heart patients, VAD patients, heart transplant program.
- IN LICENSE AND CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT
- Skillset Requirements: Telemetry, Vents
- Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW).
- Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS
- 23 bed Cardiac ICU. ranked per USNWR #5 in the nation and #1 in Midwest for last 2 years. Care for complex heart patients, VAD patients, heart transplant program.
- Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy.
- Medication Test/Pharmacology exam required. Not required for Techs or RRTS
- Minimum of 2 references required from recent employment. Must be verified within 2 years of the start date.
