- MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE, PLEASE NOTE THIS IN SUBMISSION TO PREVEN AND DELAYS!
- Effective Immediately, you MUST include your New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate up front with all Glens Falls Hospital nursing submissions.
- COVID vaccinations not required, however strongly encouraged.
- Average daily census: 20 patients
- RN to patient ratio: 1:9 (depending on census)
- Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
- Average stay length: 5-7 days
- EMR: EPIC
- Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.
- Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
- Multipliers (OT, Holiday): 1.25%
Job details
- Minimum 2+ years of Behavioral Health Unit experience - Required
- Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients - Required
- Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
- Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS and CPI - Facility will not pend license/certs)
- Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State ID. Address will be validated during compliance process.
Job requirements
- As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance.
- Glens Falls Hospital Orientation Dates: January 2, 16, 30; February: 13, 27; March: 13, 27; April: 3, 17; May: 1, 15, 29; June: 12, 26; July: 17, 31; August: 14, 28; September: 11, 25; October: 16, 30; November: 13, 20; December: 11, 18.

- MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE, PLEASE NOTE THIS IN SUBMISSION TO PREVEN AND DELAYS!
- Please check the job posting requirements for the 14 panel drug screen and make sure your agency can run this ENITRE panel (within 24hrs of offer acceptance) BEFORE you upload your traveler to this need.
- De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI/Welle Certifications- REQUIRED
- Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.

Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
