- BLS
Certification details
- 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- Ortho, ENT and/or vascular experience a plus.
- Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
Job details
- BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
- NBSTSA or equivalent preferred but not required.
Job requirements
- Start time: 0645 or 0900.
- Shift length: 4 - 10-hour shifts.
- On Call requirements: weekday 4x in 6 wks and weekend call.
- 3 - 12-hour shifts at 0630 start/orientation.
- Weekend requirements: as needed in the rotation.
- Holiday requirements: as needed.
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
Schedule information
- Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
- Scrubs required and not provided by facility.
Unit specific information
- NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
- ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).

Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
