BLS
ARDMS or ARRT/Sonography certification in Abdomen required within one year

Job details

The Registered Ultrasound technologist will apply medical ultrasound to the patient in accordance with a doctor's order.
Works within the scope of practice as defined by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and American Society Radiologic Technologists.
Handles the movement, set-up and operation of medical ultrasound equipment.
Provides patient assessment information to the Radiologist as needed.
Demonstrates competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities.

Job requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
Minimum 1-year scanning experience in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular and Breast Ultrasound preferred.
ARDMS or ARRT/Sonography certification in Abdomen required within one year.
BLS required.

Schedule information

Day shift including weekends but shift could vary.
Shift is 7a-7p or 9a-9p but could vary.
