Labor and Delivery - RN - 36 OR 48HRS NIGHTS
Start Date: 1/27, 2/10
Ratio: 1:2
2 Years Minimum Experience Required
Must have 1 prior travel assignment
Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend/holiday as needed
36HR CONTRACT CALL REQUIRED: 24HRS over a 6 week period.
The traveler is required to be on premises 45 minutes after they receive call.
48HR CONTRACT: NO CALL
Float Required: Required to Float to like units (i.e. Mom/Baby)
We cannot guarantee a set schedule
Local Candidates: 60 miles (See AM)
Skills Required: Circulate, FHM, preceptor and/or charge
Triage Experience Preferred
High risk L&D experience
This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine.

Job requirements

2 Years Minimum Experience Required
Must have 1 prior travel assignment
Required upon hire: AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, STABLE, NRP, BLS
Must register for C-EFM during the compliance phrase or within the first two weeks of the assignment
C-EFM through NCC preferred
Required to Float to like units (i.e. Mom/Baby)
Required for all Telemetry, MS/Tele, ICU, and ED units. Exam must be from within the past 3 years and have a passing score of 80%.

A valid driver's license will be required if driving on behalf of MedStar Health is an essential function of the job.

Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
