  • PeaceHealth is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer - Echocardiology for a Non Employee-Nurse, Resp Therapy, Clinical Support, 1.00 FTE, Day position. We will not accept auto offers and there is no call requirement.
  • Responsible for performing diagnostic and special procedures ultrasonography in accordance with established policies and procedures. Must use independent judgment in applying knowledge of clinical cardiology, acoustic imaging technology, and problem-solving skills to optimize the echocardiographic evaluation, tailoring and expanding the exam to ensure comprehensiveness and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Essential Functions: Performs prescribed ultrasound procedures using a variety of equipment to get preliminary echocardiographic measurements. Must be competent at the performance of adult echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and contrast studies.
    Job requirements
  • Valid state licensure/certification as required for services being performed
  • ACLS is required for ICU, ER, PCU, Cath Lab, PACU, Tele, and Respiratory Therapists.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support required.
  • Background Check is required within 60 days of start.
  • Physical Exam required within 1 year of start.
    Additional Details
  • Must sign SS verification release.

Their CEO, Diego is very down to earth and transparent. They will also pay for your certifications and RN license fees. You just show them the receipt and they are able to refund you on the next paycheck.
